Friends Fair returns for its second edition this week, May 7–9, 2026, in Austin, Texas. The second floor of The Loren Hotel will be transformed into an immersive art fair, with seventeen galleries each presenting dedicated rooms of available works.
McLennon Pen Co. is pleased to present at Friends Fair 2026 new works by Selina Wagner, Audrey Rodriguez, and Ben Siekierski.
Selina Wagner will present graphite drawings on paper and panel that use an expansive drawing language, including embossing, collage, and lithography, and hand-drawn animation. Close-up images of transforming bodies and objects move between humor and unease, lingering in moments just before touch.
Audrey Rodriguez’s work moves from food systems to state violence, tracing circuits of labor, displacement, and control, and culminating in a reckoning with ICE. Language and material are repurposed to turn structures of harm back on themselves, where grief and resistance converge.
Ben Siekierski’s sculpture Array, which will be unveiled for the first time at the fair, consists of four decoy owls equipped with hidden night vision cameras tasked with surveilling The Loren hotel. The work interrogates the interconnected relationship between surveillance and voyeurism in our physical and digital lives.
