Rosie Clements

Rosie Clements (b. 1990) is a photographer based in Los Angeles whose practice reconstitutes digital images as physical objects. In her recent work, she prints photographs onto bubble wrap using a UV printer. Clements tests the ever-blurring boundary between the material and the virtual, asking what a photograph becomes when it is given a body.

Clements received her MFA from the University of Texas at Austin in 2024. Her work has been featured on the cover of the New York Times Opinion Sunday edition, and has appeared in BOOOOOOOM, Southwest Contemporary, Dazed, and It’s Nice That. Recent art fair presentations include Felix LA and Upstairs Art Fair in Paris with Megan Mulrooney Gallery, and NADA Miami with McLennon Pen Co., alongside group exhibitions at Good Mother Gallery in Los Angeles and Blah Blah Gallery in Philadelphia.
